WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the Holy Trinity; One God, who distinguishably exists as Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity, the promised Messiah, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died for the sins of all humanity. After three days, he resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and shall return at the appointed time to fully consummate the Kingdom of God here on earth.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third member of the Holy Trinity; existing to serve & uplift both the Father & Son. He is our Comforter and Teacher promised by Jesus Christ, who dwells within the hearts of those who’ve been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers. convicts, and sanctifies God’s people to live a life of holiness & witness to the Gospel.

We believe the Bible is the true, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It bears witness to Christ & the Gospel. The Scripture is God-breathed, God-ordained, living & active, and the source of absolute truth, beckoning all who’ve been saved by Christ to submit under its authority. It serves as the final word & authority on all matter on which it speaks.

We believe salvation is the redemption & deliverance from the bondage of sin. We believe that we are saved solely by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that water baptism is an outward expression of an inward change for a believer who’s committed him/herself to living a surrendered life solely for Christ.

We believe in partaking of Holy communion (or Lord’s Supper) in remembrance of Christ for the purpose of re-centering & realigning ourselves again to the heart of our faith.
